“ Probably one of my favorite homey Japanese restaurants in this area! The restaurant is on the smaller side so there might be a wait, but we only waited about 10 minutes to get inside. They have a good amount of options for you to customize your dining experience - I decided on the hot udon and katsudon combo to try more items on the menu. The udon was pretty standard, but I really enjoyed the katsudon! The egg was prepared really well and the katsu had good texture to it. On top of that, the workers were really nice and accommodating (my friend and I got hot water because it was a little cold by the windows). Would definitely come again! ”

“ This is a very casual restaurant with cute duck decorations. Nothing is fancy, from the menu to the decor. Te food is basic, but also absolutely delicious! I got the tonkotsu ramen and enjoyed the rich noodles. My boyfriend had the mild chicken curry and enjoyed how flavorful it was, but said it didn't have any kick. ”

“ Service by the owner was really good and friendly, I asked why "ducks?" And she shared us that their family used to go to the park and feed the ducks together. And now they are feeding us. (Me: So we are the ducks?) Yes. Lolz. My daughters liked that there was a bunch of Japanese comics to flip through. My daughter wanted to get the big bowl of udon a la cart but she got the combo instead, no big deal, she enjoyed the mini curry nevertheless. Cute atmosphere with a lot of mini rubber duckies on the window-still. My friend enjoyed her Tonkatsu and commented it was "tasty." For me, since I'm doing carnivore I omitted the salad and rice so my rib eye was a little small for me, maybe add an option for a bigger piece? All in all a good place for simple, comfort Japanese food. ”

“ If you're into curry then you'll want to come to this comfort Japanese restaurant and order yourself some curry and or a soba dish. In my opinion the batter is too thick but overall it's pretty good. I like the curry enough that I'll overlook the overly battery batter. I got the chicken katsu curry plate. The service was nice and quick so we didn't wait long during lunch time. The place is small though but enough for about 20 people. They have their own parking in this small strip mall. They've been around for many many years ”

“ Randomly came across Ducks when trying to find a place for a friend and I to grab dinner. It's located in a small plaza and shares parking spaces with the businesses around. However, it seems most of those places close early and/or have little foot traffic so parking in the lot is easy. My friend and I came around dinner 6 PM for dinner and we were seated right away. The menus includes your typical Japanese noodle dishes both in soup form and stir-fry. We both decided to get the udon stirfry With chicken and we were surprised at how big the portions are! The udon was chewy and had a nice char taste to it. I had to stop myself from eating the whole thing because it was that good! All the dishes are reasonably priced and I like that there was a variety to choose from. The location is spacious and has plenty of tables so they're able to accommodate bigger parties. ”
